Herding GmbH Filtertechnik
Herding Filtertechnik – Dust in, Air out
Herding Filter Technology removes solid particles from gases and specializes in demanding filtration tasks within industrial processes. Its foundation is the unique surface filtration using the Herding sinter-plate filter — a technology that has set new standards in dust extraction since its development almost 50 years ago. It ensures maximum process reliability, uncompromising separation efficiency, material recovery, and exceptional durability.
As a family-owned company headquartered in Amberg, Herding is deeply rooted locally while being globally connected. Approximately 400 employees manufacture more than 75,000 filter elements annually in our own production facilities. Worldwide, subsidiaries and partners ensure that our filter systems are tailored to the specific requirements of a wide range of industries.
We deliver complete filtration systems from a single source — from consulting and design to production, installation, commissioning, and maintenance. In doing so, we increase our customers’ productivity while making a sustainable contribution to protecting people and the environment.
Herding stands for WE of the employees.
Our culture is shaped by pragmatic, unconventional, and collaborative problem‑solving. Good ideas matter more than hierarchies, personal responsibility more than formal roles, and commitment more than fulfilling duties.
Or put simply:
Doing is like wanting — only more powerful
